Explore and analyze values and trends of hourly congestion data to find where the grid is least and most constrained over time. Waypoint turns raw nodal price data into trends, seasonal patterns, and diurnal shapes you can act on, whether you’re scoping a single site or scanning all of PJM.

Behind the numbers: we pull every transmission-level (≥100 kV) node from official ISO data and aggregate millions of hourly observations into signed congestion trends, seasonal and diurnal profiles, stress coupling, and threshold-frequency stats. Each chart helps answer the question of whether congestion at this node is getting worse, getting better, or staying put. Drill from an ISO-wide scatter and zone choropleth down to any single node to prioritize candidates before committing to a full power-flow study.

Built for:

  • Data center siting — flexible loads or otherwise
  • High-value battery interconnection locations
  • Transmission-level VPP dispatch sites
  • Understanding congestion across the PJM footprint
